Fleur Zegher vs Heather Kettinrig

SluggerX commissioned me to do what is, perhaps, my biggest project to date. My own Heather Kettinrig goes up against Dutch beauty, Fleur Zegher, with a cameo by YuukiMMD 's Ryoko Takeda as the adorable ref-chan. I enjoy the challenge of conveying a story through a single image, but it's definitely easier when you have a whole page and plenty of dialogue to work with. SluggerX provided an interesting script, and I was already strangely enamored with the idea of Heather boxing a cute, red-haired Dutch girl (the kind of opponent you don't see every day!), so I had a lot of fun with this one. Fleur's a tough woman, but she just rubbed Heather the wrong way, and I'm glad I finally got to show her losing control.
  

On the technical side of things, I actually stumbled across a more efficient method for cleaning up my line work. And since this one obviously required a lot of line work, it turned out to be a miracle. I shudder to think how long this would have taken me, with my old style.
